Losing sight of an identity,
I used to be a person, I used to believe.
I've erased every last fingerprint.
And now I am nothing.
Sometimes that figure returns, but a shadow in a dark room.
Every time I feel it there I turn to witness a void.
We tend to forget where we have come from.
Numb from the weather, lying cold in the sun.
Sometimes I wonder who we were supposed to be.
My answer yet to be found but I will stop at nothing.
I will find you, that which I have lost.
I will find myself, and never let go.
Though I have wasted, I will remember you always.
Taken for granted.
Paradise stolen away.
Raped of sanity
Angry at the world.
Wronged by none but myself.
I will pick up the pieces.
I'll never let go.
